Because it could be considered part of your personal data, a connection to you will be established, at least for the length of your visit to our website. After ending your session, your IP address will not be stored, that is, it will be irretrievably erased. You are not required to register in order to have access to this website.

If you contact us via e-mail, or if you submit information about the art via e-mail, we will store the data you have shared (e-mail address, name, and telephone number as needed) in order to respond to you. The data accrued in this context will be erased when it is no longer necessary to store it, or—in cases where we are legally required to retain it—its use will be restricted. General Information about Consent

If you have given consent to use your data for certain other purposes, the data will be processed in accordance with this permission. Upon inquiry, we will be glad to provide you with more details on how to give consent for this purpose.

Sharing Information in the Public Interest

Unless otherwise specified, data will be processed when it is necessary to carry out tasks that are in the public interest, pursuant to article 6, paragraph 1, page 1 of the DSGVO in connection with article 4, paragraphs 1 and 2 of the BayDSG. This website meets the public’s need for information and thus contributes to shaping public opinion.

In regard to the personal data that is stored with us, you have the following rights:

  • Right to information
  • Right to correct or erase,
  • Right to restrict usage of your data,
  • Right to object to usage of your data,
  • Right to data portability.
  • You also have the right to report us to a public data protection authority if your personal data has been misused.

Logging IP Addresses and Log Files

Out of technical necessity, users who call up quivid.de transmit data to a web server via their internet browser. Regulations applying to the processing of personal data via cookies permit technically necessary cookies, and data will be immediately anonymized, also in accordance with article 6, paragraph 1, page 1 of the DSGVO.

While there is active communication between your internet browser and our server, the following data will be recorded:

  • Date and time of the request
  • Name of the requested data
  • The site from which the file was requested
  • Access status (data transmitted, data not found, etc.)
  • The user’s web browser and operating system
  • Complete IP address of the computer making the request
  • Amount of data transmitted

We process the data in this step to make it possible for you to access our website and to ensure the security of our IT systems. As a rule, the data we gather is erased three days after your visit to the website. Please note, the above data is also usually generated whenever you access any other website on the internet, meaning that collecting this data is not a function specific to our website.

Hosting, Support, and Maintenance

Our website is hosted by the City of Munich’s IT Department, which provides us with infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage, database maintenance, and security. The IT Department is also responsible for the technical maintenance of the website.
In order to fulfill its duties, the IT Department processes, among other things, the usage data, metadata, and communications data from the visitors to our website as part of an order processing agreement, pursuant to article 28 of the DSGVO.

The City of Munich’s IT Department stores your personal data on especially secure servers within the European Union. The IT Department employs technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access and misuse.
