Dieser rote Faden windet sich in wilden Verschlingungen, taucht streckenweise unter die Erde ab, aber er geht niemals verloren: \u201eDas rote Band\u201c, Marijanca Ambos\u2018 Kunstwerk im Au\u00dfenbereich des Hauses f\u00fcr Kinder am Hartmannshofer B\u00e4chl in Allach, kringelt sich in unz\u00e4hligen Schleifen von einem Eingang des frei stehenden Geb\u00e4udes zum anderen. Im Bereich des Gehwegs wurde er mit Farbe auf den Asphalt aufgetragen, an anderen Stellen tritt er dreidimensional aus dem Boden hervor wie eine niedrige Bank oder ein schmales M\u00e4uerchen. Die plastischen Teile dieses roten, 35 Zentimeter breiten Bandes bestehen aus glasfaserverst\u00e4rktem gef\u00e4rbten Beton.<\/p>\n
Aber selbst wenn das Band am Wegesrand scheinbar unter der Wiese verschwindet, taucht es doch in Sichtweite wieder auf und zieht sich weiter \u2013 von T\u00fcr zu T\u00fcr. So dient es als Orientierungshilfe und bildet dar\u00fcber hinaus eine lockere Abgrenzung zu den umliegenden Freifl\u00e4chen. Und das an sich abstrakte Band, das seine r\u00e4tselhaften Schleifen zieht, sendet doch eine klare Botschaft aus: Es will bespielt werden. Die Wegf\u00fchrung l\u00e4dt einerseits dazu ein, ihrem wundersamen Verlauf zu folgen. Anderseits bieten die insgesamt f\u00fcnf bis zu 60 Zentimeter hohen plastischen Elemente sowohl Sitzgelegenheit als auch \u00dcbungsger\u00e4t f\u00fcr erste Balanceakte sowie \u2013 f\u00fcr Fortgeschrittene \u2013 einen Parcours f\u00fcr Spr\u00fcnge. This red thread winds in wild, serpentine curves and disappears below ground for a while, but is never lost: The Red Ribbon, Marijanca Ambos\u2019s work of art outside the Haus f\u00fcr Kinder, on Am Hartmannshofer B\u00e4chl in Allach, curls in countless loops from one entrance of the freestanding building to the other. Some of it is painted onto the asphalt in the area around the sidewalk, and in other places it becomes three-dimensional, rising out of the ground like a low bench or a narrow little wall. The sculptural elements of this red, 35-centimeter-wide band are made of colored concrete with fiberglass reinforcement.<\/p>\n
Yet, even when the ribbon seems to vanish below the meadow at the edge of the path, it reappears within view and continues onward, spiraling from door to door. It serves as both a landmark and a kind of boundary, loosely delimiting the surrounding open spaces. As the abstract ribbon traces its enigmatic loops, it conveys a clear message: it wants to be played with. On the one hand, it invites you to follow the wonderful course of its path. On the other, the five- to sixty-centimeter-high sculptural elements offer places to sit, while also serving as balance beams and even a parkour for jumping\u2014at least, for the more advanced.
